The FOSTER Open Science Training Bootcamp will run from 18-20 April 2018, and will consist mostly of high-intensity, insightful work on several different areas, which will include:
- Popular and innovative Open Science Workflows and Tools
- Open Research Data
- Open Code
- Open Access
- Training skills
The ultimate aim of the event is to make the attendees more confident and competent open scientists, who will return to their institutions better equipped to provide support and advice, and even further training, to their colleagues. The course is open to all, but is mainly targeted at early career researchers, research support staff and other relevant stakeholders based in Europe who are eager and planning to deliver open science training to researchers and students. Expenses of up to €250 can be covered to provide accommodation in a shared room, and catering during the training will also be provided.
