EuroMarine Member Organisation SZN Anton Dohrn has announced registrations are open for a Knowledge Exchange and Training course on Metabarcoding and Metagenomic Data Processing and Analyses. This course, which is sponsored by the Assemble+ project and the European Commission, will be hosted by SZN in Naples, Italy from February 3rd to 7th, 2020.
The course consists of lectures and practical sessions introducing the primary aspects of metabarcoding and metagenomic bioinformatics data analyses (from data pre-processing to data analysis), providing attendees with the necessary knowledge and skills to select and apply the main approaches. Results presentation and delivery will also be discussed.
Course Topics include:
- Metabarcoding (16S, 18S, and other)
- Metagenomic data processing (reference based and de novo approaches)
- Data analyses and visualization
The course is limited to 20 participants, so interested participants should register as soon as possible.
