On 1st October 2020, the H2020 project MISSION ATLANTIC, coordinated by EuroMarine member organisation DTU Aqua, will officially start. The project has an overarching aim to map and assess the present as well as potential future states of Atlantic marine ecosystems under multiple stressors. The project is financed under the EU H2020 flagship on the Atlantic Ocean and will run from 2020 until 2025.
During the Kick-off Meeting - which will be online - a series of public presentations will be delivered focusing on recent advances in Atlantic research and future perspectives in Mission Atlantic to advance integrated ecosystem assessments. These days (1st and 2nd of October) are open to external participants, with time allocated for scientific discussions.
The project team intend to support open science from the start and firmly believe in the value of collaborations and exchange of ideas.
Information on the agenda and how to join the meeting is available in the document below.
