Applications for the Calibration & Validation for Ocean Color Remote Sensing class, part of theĀ 2017 Ocean Optics Course, are now being accepted. The course will run from 10 July - 4 August, and will take place in University of Maine's Darling Marine Center in Walpole, Maine. The course aims to prepare future oceanographers trained in the use of optics to study the ocean, and is sponsored by NASA and the University of Maine.
Twenty students will be accepted to participate in the course. The deadline for all applications is 1 March 2017, and all successful applicants will be notified by 1 April 2017.
