As part of their participation in the Assemble+ project, the Swedish Mariculture Research Center (SWEMARC) has announced a PhD course titled Transdisciplinary approaches to sustainable marine aquaculture. The course begins with a one-week intensive portion held at Tjärnö Marine Laboratory (10-12 Feb) and Kristineberg Marine Research Station (12-14 Feb), followed by a four-week interactive online section.
The course is aimed at PhD students with an interest in interdisciplinary approaches to the development of sustainable food production from the sea. The course will include lectures, collaborative team projects and study visits to aquaculture sites. It will be taught by Swedish and international lecturers and industry experts.
