The Young Scientists Working Group (YSWG) has created a survey to understand the professional context, motivations and concerns of early career researchers within the marine sciences. The overall aim of the YSWG is to increase knowledge about current issues concerning early career scientists' working environment, financial situation and future perspectives in science. Ultimately, the EuroMarine network hopes to cultivate an active Young Scientist community who will provide inputs towards the future direction of the network and benefit from current and future network activities and services. More information on the objectives and accomplishments of the YSWG can be found here.
The YSWG invites all early career marine scientists, from PhD candidates/students to post doctoral researchers and research fellows, to help generate a clearer understanding of the challenges they face by filling out this short survey and disseminating it to others in their institutions:
The survey will be open from the 8th to the 21st of October.
