Herion-Watt University is seeking candidates for a research fellowship (leading to permanent appointment) with experience in working with international groups and different stakeholders, especially those with relevance to the following key areas:

  • Small-scale fisheries
  • Marine conservation
  • Seafood resilience
  • Seafood integrity and provenance

The successful applicant will develop their own unique area of research as part of Herion-Watt's broader Blue Economy agenda. They will be mentored by Professor Kaiser who will ensure that they are fully integrated into the Scottish, UK and international policy arena.
