SAMS (UK) seek a Post Doctoral Research Associate to help further develop their expertise in basin scale ocean observation and analysis for climate, with aspirations to become a future leader in the field by contributing to the organisation's high-profile international research programmes. The post holder will join an observationally focused team (moorings and gliders) researching the topic of ocean salinity and the hydrological cycle.
The successful candidate for the post should have a PhD in Earth Science Research, and hold a first degree in a subject with focus on numerical analysis such as Mathematics or Physics. International travel will also be expected for the succesful candidate.
