The University of Bergen (Norway) has a permanent position for a scientific project manager at its Geophysical Institute. The successful candidate will act as project manager of the EU Horizon 2020 project COMFORT "Our common future ocean in the Earth system – quantifying coupled cycles of carbon, oxygen, and nutrients for determining and achieving safe operating spaces with respect to tipping points", which is a central European research project aiming to provide added value to decision and policy makers in terms of science-based safe marine operating spaces, refined climate mitigation targets, and feasible long-term mitigation pathways. The project has 32 partners from Europe, Africa, Canada, and India.
