World Ocean Day 2018 is taking place on 8 June. This year, organisers are hoping to bring huge awareness to the Ocean and the many issues it faces in the coming decades. This particular movement, 'World Ocean Day for Schools', aims to get schools more involved in awareness of the Ocean, bringing the message of Ocean conservation to a young audience. Hoping to start a discussion amongst parents, teachers and communities, there are three main ways interested individuals can get involved: these are hosting an assembly, dressing up for the ocean, or giving an ocean lesson.
