The EuroMarine 2015 General Assembly meeting and three associated meetings will be hosted by Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn di Napoli (SZN) in Naples, Italy, 23-25 February 2015.

  • Monday 23 February (all day): two EuroMarine workshops held back-to-back with the General Assembly meeting
  • Tuesday 24 February (all day): General Assembly meeting
  • Wednesday 25 February (morning): General Assembly meeting (cont.)
  • Wednesday 25 February (afternoon): Steering Committee meeting (closed)

About the meetings

General Assembly (GA): This is the annual meeting of the representatives of the 66 (2014) Member Organisations of EuroMarine. The GA will notably include: scientific presentations; discussions and decisions about EuroMarine scientific strategy, 2015 budget and activity plan. Representatives of current or prospective Member Organisations have priority, but the meeting is otherwise open to other interested participants.

Steering Committee (SC): this is a closed meeting of the 16 (2014) SC members.

In spite of 17 late cancellations, 67 individuals from 48 organizations in 19 countries attended the meeting. There were 45 Full Members representatives present at the venue. The quorum applying to General Assembly meetings (3/5th of 55 Full Members, i.e. 33) was therefore amply satisfied.
