The 15th Conference will follow the format of the preceding 14 successful aquaculture conferences that we have held around the world, over the last 40 years.
The actual conference programmes are never finalised until much nearer the start of each conference. This is to ensure that each program covers the latest, most up to date, most relevant, insurance and risk management issues affecting the industry and its insurers.
The Programme for this 15th Conference will continue to address all key subjects, in the usual flexible and interactive manner. Already sessions are planned: on the major plankton bloom experienced in Chile this year (2016); on the latest disease issues the industry and its insurers must deal with; on climate change and environmental pollution - especially marine acidity and sea level rises and temperature changes; on the underwriting results and the challenges they present; on some of the new species and feed issues, and a range of other topics. All will be covered by expert speakers drawn from many countries and industry sectors around the world.
