Update 29/05/2020 - Due the Covid-19 crisis, European Maritime Day 2020 has now been cancelled.

Update - Due to closures relating to Covid-19, European Maritime Day, originally scheduled to take place 14-15 May, 2020 will be postponed until later in the year. No new date has been set but additional information will be on the EMD website as it's made available.

European Maritime Day (EMD) is the annual EU meeting point on maritime affairs and blue growth. It targets maritime professionals, entrepreneurs and ocean leaders. The event and exhibition will take place on 14-15 May 2020 at the City Hall in Cork, Ireland. This year the conference will herald in a new 'Blue Decade'. EMD2020 will be held in conjunction with Ireland's annual flagship event for the marine sector, Our Ocean Wealth (OOW), and will additionally take place back-to-back with SeaFest, Ireland's biggest family-focused maritime celebration.

If you are interested in organising a workshop for the event, you will have to submit an online application before 3 December 2019.
