The National University of Ireland, Galway has opened the call for three exciting positions in the project assessing Blue Carbon ecosystems.

PhD studentship

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a full-time PhD (Structured PhD programme) in Botany and Plant Science to complete a PhD on ‘Carbon stocks, dynamics and processes in Irish seagrass and selected macroalgal systems’ as part of a larger project on Irish Blue Carbon ecosystems (‘BlueC’) funded by the Marine Institute.

PhD studentship: €18,500 p.a. Duration 48 months starting 1 September 2022.

PostDoc researcher

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a full-time, fixed term position as a Postdoctoral Researcher with Botany and Plant Science at the National University of Ireland, Galway. NUIG seek to recruit a motivated scientist with experience relevant to seagrass ecology and productivity

Post Doc researcher: €39,522 p.a. Duration 36 months starting 1 September 2022.

Research Assistant

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a full-time, fixed term Research Assistant position within the School of Natural Sciences

€27,380 p.a. Duration 24 months starting 1 September 2022.
