National University of Singapore are seeking to appoint a full-time Research Fellow to lead the field sampling and experimental research on the hazards, risk and impacts of marine plastispheres. The RF will also be required to work closely with local and international scientists to develop methods that support the research goals of understanding impacts of marine plastics. This work is part of a larger project funded by the UK NERC and Singapore NRF to understanding the microbial transformation of marine plastics in the environment. The successful applicant will work with a multi-disciplinary team of PIs, Research Assistants and students to conduct a range of field-based and laboratory experiments. This position reports to the Principal Investigator at Tropical Marine Science Institute. Candidates are expected to commence work as soon as possible.
