Seagrass Ocean Rescue are a research and conservation collaboration between Swansea University, WWF and Project Seagrass that seeks to facilitate, inspire and act to restore 3000 hectares of seagrass by 2030. The organisation is seeking a research officer to join its team.

The main duties of the role are:

  1. Provide scientific leadership to seagrass site assessments and surveys
  2. Lead seagrass planting trials at Seagrass Ocean Rescue sites in North wales and the Solent.
  3. Prepare scientific reports and papers as outputs from Seagrass Ocean Rescue.
  4. Provide support towards Seagrass Ocean Rescue team motivation.
