Project description
Environmental and Marine Biology at Åbo Akademi University in Turku, Finland invites applications for a research position (postdoctoral level) to study past and present states in Baltic Sea ecosystems, evaluating structure and function of food webs.

Main responsibilities
The main responsibility of the appointee is to conduct research and contribute to reporting within the project. At the department, all researchers are expected to contribute to teaching and supervision, as well as participate in communicating and promoting research to a wider audience.

Qualification requirements and assessment criteria
Candidates are required to have completed their PhD degree prior to taking up the appointment. The university is looking for a highly motivated researcher with potential for independent, creative research. A strong background in marine ecology, food web ecology, and quantitative methods of data analysis is required, as well as fluency in English.
