Center for Ocean Life are seeking candidates for 2 open PhD positions to address how life in the world’s oceans will respond to global change. These candidates will be part of our ongoing research program to predict how global change will shape marine ecosystems, but also how they functions, for example, the production of fish, the drawdown and sequestration of atmosphere carbon, and oxygen dynamics of the deep sea. In this endeavor candidates are needed with strong analytic skills, who (want to apply those skills to model life in the ocean, and who) are not daunted by global scale challenges.
