This position is based at University of Galway in western Ireland and contributes to the multi-institutional BlueCarbon (‘BlueC’) project in collaboration with University College Dublin and University College Cork, funded by the Marine Institute (Ireland).

Within the BlueC project, this research position is focused on implementing the assessment of carbon stocks and dynamics in Irish sea grass systems and assist in the evaluation of the potential of accepted and potential blue carbon systems.
