Its goal is to foster the exchange of innovative ideas and findings on marine technology and environmental sustainability. The event will provide a comprehensive overview of emerging trends and applications in marine science, with a particular focus on how technological advances can improve our understanding of marine ecosystems.

The SARTI Technological Development Centre at the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) is at the forefront of this movement, specializing in the development of remote data acquisition systems and oceanographic instrumentation. SARTI's work spans several areas, including scientific research, technology transfer to industry, and training in advanced instrumentation techniques. Their mission is to improve the sustainability and management of marine environments through innovative technology.
