The University of Aveiro is seeking an Assistant Researcher in the field of Environmental economics, under the ERA CHAIR BESIDE project.

The role involves carrying out scientific research activities with a focus on environmental economics and natural resources, in order to contribute to the promotion of a more sustainable and resilient environment, in the scope of H2020 ERA Chair "BESIDE - Institutional, Behavioural, critical and adaptive economics towards Sustainable Development, management of natural capital and circular Economy”, (Grant Agreement 951389), funded by the EU.

Job Requirements:

Any national, foreign and stateless candidate(s) with a doctorate degree in the scientific area of Economics, preferably with specialisation in Environmental Economics, Natural Resources Economics, Bioeconomy or Economics of new circular and sustainable models or related areas can apply.

Alternatively, candidates can hold a doctorate degree in the scientific area of Management or Finance, preferably with specialisation in Environmental Management, Natural Resources Management, Sustainable Management or Finance or other areas of management or finance with direct link to the new circular and sustainable economic models or related areas and who hold a scientific and professional curriculum whose profile is suited for the activity to be performed may also apply.
