Are you an expert in ocean conservation and restoration? Join the Prep4Blue Project for a pilot stakeholder assembly in Bordeaux, France on Wednesday the 20th of November 2024.
The Prep4Blue Project is delighted to announce that on 20 November 2024, the CPMR in collaboration with CETMAR and with the strong support of the project BlueMissionAA, will organize a pilot stakeholder assembly, gathering all the main actors of the Mission Ocean and Waters Atlantic lighthouse in an interactive event!
Kindly hosted by the region Nouvelle Aquitaine, the stakeholder assembly is organised in the framework of the Mission Ocean project PREP4BLUE, and will take place in Bordeaux, France.
Through a workshop scenario format and a “role play”, the assembly will immerse the participants in different fictive scenarios to spark a collaborative reflection on potential solutions, trade-offs, and strategic approaches to foster the engagement of more affected stakeholders by measures for the preservation and restoration of marine and coastal ecosystems. Impactful solutions to boost stakeholder engagement in the Atlantic will be co-created and the event will facilitate their replicability in the Mission projects.
Regions are key players in the Mission Ocean and Waters. This pilot assembly will thus take inspiration from the regional “Sea Parliament” as a relevant, inclusive institutional model, gathering all actors from the blue ecosystem.
If you are an expert in ocean conservation and restoration, we highly recommend you mark the date in your calendar and already pre-register via the online form in the link below!
