The University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) in South Africa is seeking a Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Marine Biology. Apply by November 17th 2023.

The School of Life Sciences is well established with a strong research profile and has a large number of undergraduate and postgraduate students. The School has an active Marine Biology programme with a strong research profile, and a large and vibrant postgraduate research programme.

The incumbent will be expected to contribute to teaching and research in the Marine Biology/Biology program on the Westville campus. S/he will also be expected to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum development, and supervise postgraduate students up to PhD level. To complement research and teaching skills in the group, a strong background in marine phycology, marine ecophysiology or intertidal ecology is required.

The incumbent will report to the Academic Leader: Biodiversity and Evolutionary Biology.
